It’s a busy season already and we’re just getting started with so much going on.
Summer Parades:
We have already participated in 3 parades this year, handing out over 3,000 gospel bags with our new gospel tract, “Tired of all the Bad News,” a Spanish translation of the “Good News” tract and a piece of Jolly Rancher candy. We participated in 2 Tulip Festival Volksparades in Orange City and the Summer Celebration Parade in Sioux Center. I want to thank our volunteers for their invaluable help; my daughter (Ana De Boer), her husband (Matthew De Boer) and my granddaughter (Scotlyn), who helped dad drive at the Volksparade on Saturday. My grandson, Richard Eggebeen and a dear brother in Christ, Harlan Boer were also there to help out at the parades in Orange City. At the Sioux Center parade Ana, Richard helped distribute gospel bags and Harlan drove the car with an RGM sign and extra sacks of gospel bags. What a blessing to hear the children say “thank you” as they received a bag with a treat and gospel tracts in it. Many Spanish speaking families were present, so it was a blessing to be able to include a tract for them to read in their own language.
Unfortunately, there are no pictures to share – will try to remember next time.
Speaking of next time: our next parade will be July 8th in Hull, IA – we are partnering with the Heritage Reformed Congregation there – so we will have a magnetic sign on the car with the church name on it and invitations to the church in the gospel bags that will be handed out.
Gospel in the Park – Park Evangelism Events
Gospel in the Park – June 24 – 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
We are excited about our first Gospel in the Park for the year that is coming this weekend. We are doing things a little differently. We are inviting other speakers to deliver the gospel messages. For the Gospel in the Park this coming Saturday, we will have Larry Villalobos of Heritage Reformed Congregation, Hull, IA giving the message, “Christ Came into the World.” Gary Vander Hart will also lead those present in the singing of a few gospel songs and hymns. We are looking forward to being able to bring the gospel to those in the community of Sioux Center and the surrounding areas. We have put up posters, left personal invitations in the town; it has also been announced in the churches in the surrounding areas and announced on the radio and in the local newspaper.
If you are not able to be there physically – no problem – we will be live streaming the event, Click on the link below to watch:
Gospel in the Park, June 24th – Live stream
Our July Gospel in the Park will be on the 15th with Harvey Spaans of Heritage Reformed Congregation giving his personal testimony, sharing how God’s grace saved him late in life.
The August Gospel in the Park will have Rev. Stetler speaking or another a person who has been invited to give a gospel message; will update you as soon as we know who is going to be giving the gospel message.
Creation Conferences in September:
September is going to be very busy with 2 creation conference back-to-back being held: one in Sioux Center, IA and the other in Dublin, Ireland. The conference in Sioux Center will on September 9th at the Sioux Center United Reformed Church (see poster below for details and to register); the conference in Dublin will be on September 16th
I have made up a poster for the Sioux Center conference. Will be working on the Dublin poster soon.

I will update other activities that we are involved in this year a little later, including other parades and one other conference in the fall that will be focused on reaching out to the LGBTQ community with gospel of Jesus Christ without compromise – Poster below:

As you can see, we have a lot on our plate this year and a lot of costs that need to be covered. Everything that RGM does is free to the public, including giving away Bibles, books and other materials free of charge. We strictly donation funded. Please consider making a donation so we can continue to reach out to a lost world with gospel of Jesus Christ. This is especially important as we seek to continue to support evangelistic efforts in Liberia and India.
100% of your donation goes directly to fund the spreading of the gospel of Christ through our various events and activities . . . and is tax deductible as allowed by law.
Evangelism Overseas:
I will give a separate report on our overseas evangelistic ministries we are helping.
In the meantime, please keep RGM in you prayers and consider making donation no matter the size, every gift is a blessing and will go to help this ministry.
We are also in need of volunteers to help with our various events and activities – won’t you also please consider volunteering to help spread the gospel in these times when bad news seems overwhelm us everyday?
Many blessings to you all.
Your Servant in Christ,
Rev. Richard Stetler, CEO
Soli Deo Gloria!
