Gospel in the Park, Sioux Center, IA – August 19th (corrected)

The theme for this gospel event will be “Peace in Anxious Times?” It’s a question because as we observe what is going on this world and especially in this nation there is much to be anxious about. Yet, anxiety doesn’t have to either drive us or bring us down. We need to change our focus recognizing that these anxious times are not only a time judgment on those who follow after wickedness, but also recognizing that those who are in Christ by grace alone through faith alone, trusting not only in His one atoning work on the cross for sinners, like you and me, God is working out His perfect will, testing our faith to strengthen us, as we look to Him alone more and more to watch over and care for us in these anxious times – these very troubling times.

Hope to see you at this Gospel meeting, where truth will be proclaimed without compromise and unashamedly (no watering down this strong and savory drink of blessedness) to the glory of God, our Savior; the Lord of lords and King of kings, who reigns over all creation from His heavenly throne of grace.
