Ministry Update & Revised Schedule for 2024

PLEASE NOTE: There are several changes that have been made to the schedule as we are focusing more on “HOW” to evangelize this year. We will also continue to provide opportunities for you to engage in evangelistic work through our various activities and events; either reaching out to people with the gospel or inviting people to an event to hear the gospel preached; especially, if the person(s) doesn’t want to attend a church service or is more comfortable in a so-called “neutral” location.

February –

13^th – Board of Director’s Meeting; 6:00 p.m. Central time – Minutes of Meeting available on request

March –

20^th & 21^st – Indoor Market Fair, Sioux Center, IA – booth giving away Bibles, Books & Gospel Tracts

May –

17^th – 18^th – Tulip Festival Parade, Orange City, IA – Tract Distribution on parade route

June –

1^st – Sioux Center Summer Celebration Parade, Sioux Center, IA – Tract distribution along parade route

11^th – Board of Director’s Meeting; 6:00 p.m. Central time

15^th or 22^nd – Gospel in the Park, Sioux Center Central Park Bandshell, Sioux Center, IA, 7 pm–Gospel message & music

26^th –Farmers Market (Location to be Determined) – booth giving away Bibles, Books & Gospel Tracts

28^th & 29^th – Evangelism Training Seminar/Conference – How to witness the gospel to your community individually and corporately – Speaker: Rev. Al Baker of Vanguard Presbyterian Church – Location: Heritage Reformed Congregation, Hull, IA (7:00pm-9:00pm Friday; 9:00am- Noon Saturday)

July –

6^th –Hull SummerFest Parade, Hull, IA – Tract distribution along parade route in Partner with Heritage Reformed Church, Hull, IA

17^th – Farmers Market (Location to be Determined) – booth giving away Bibles, Books & Gospel Tracts

20^th or 27^th – Gospel in the Park,Sioux Center Central Park Bandshell, Sioux Center, IA, 7 pm–Gospel message & music

August –

3^rd – Hartley Parade, Hartley, IA – Tract distribution along parade route

10^st – Rally in the Valley Parade, Rock Valley, IA– Tract distribution along parade route in partner with Rock Valley United Reformed Church, Rock Valley, IA

17^st or 24^th – Gospel in the Park,Sioux Center Central Park Bandshell, Sioux Center, IA, 6 pm–Gospel message & music

28^st – Dordt University Taste of Sioux Center – Display table – a great opportunity to meet some of the students attending Dordt University and to give away books and materials that encourage them in the faith, and to proclaim the gospel of Christ with confidence

September –

3^rd – Board of Director’s Meeting; 6:00 p.m. Central time

7^th – Sheldon Parade, Sheldon, IA – Tract distribution along parade route

9th – Rev. Stetler Travels to Ireland (Please pray for funding for this trip; and good health)

14^th – RGM International’s Conference on Evangelism – “A Fresh Way Forward” Dublin, Ireland; Speaker: Rev. Al Baker of Vanguard Presbyterian Church – Location TBD – Date is subject to change – More Details to follow

21^st or 28^th – Gospel in the Park,Sioux Center Central Park Bandshell, Sioux Center, IA, 6 pm–Gospel message & music (Date and location subject to change)

23^rd & 24^th – Tri-State Bible Conference – Table giving away Bibles, Books & Gospel Tracts

October –

Mid-October (the 11^th and 12^th or 18^th or 19^th – Evangelism Training Seminar/Conference – How to witness the gospel to your community individually and corporately – Speaker: Rev. Al Baker of Vanguard Presbyterian Church – Location: TBD (7:00pm-9:00pm Friday; 9:00am- Noon Saturday) – More details to follow.

And/or

Community Gospel Outreach Campaign – door to door evangelism and/or street evangelism – Location: TBD

November –

8^th & 9^th – The 5^th Annual Reformation Conference – “Proclaiming the Gospel Under Duress” – A conference to help Christians witness the saving and transforming power of the Gospel without compromise in times of great distress and uncertainty. Speaker: Mike Stockwell of Cross Country Evangelism; Location: Cornerstone United Reformed Church, Sanborn, IA; Times: 6:30 pm – 8pm Friday; 9 am – Noon Saturday

December –

3^rd or 10^th – Board of Director’s Meeting; 6:00 p.m. Central time (unless changed by B of D)

 Reformation Gospel Ministries works in partner with local Reformed Churches in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is organized with a eight member board of directors consisting of Reformed and Presbyterian ministers and elders, who desire to work together in spreading the biblical gospel message to those who sit in darkness, without hope. Richard Stetler, CEO, is a minister of the Reformed Church in the United States under the oversight of Covenant East Classis.

Reformation Gospel Ministries is grateful to the Lord who has faithfully provided our every need through the support of our volunteers and donors as we spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
