Summary: We can learn much from John the Baptizer. His humility is noted as an example for us to follow. John responds to a complaint by his disciples that sought to lift John over Jesus; however, John reminds his disciples of his role; that it is imperative he decreases in his role as a prophet, who has pointed his disciples to Jesus the Christ, correcting them in their incorrect view of who Jesus is.
