True worship as described by Jesus in the passage under consideration has been all but lost within many Christian communities that have traded truth for a man-centered, feel good, esoteric worship. There is much ignorance that is evident in the worship services of many churches. However, true worship is to be done in spirit and truth. So, what does it mean to worship in spirit and truth, as Jesus defines true and acceptable worship to be?
This message is part one of a two-part message in answer to that question. We will consider verses 20-22 in this message and verses 23 and 24 in the message that follows.
