Not My Grip on Christ

It is not my grip on Christ that keeps me secure;

Not my strength that keeps me from falling into dangerous, raging seas of sin;

Not my will that lifts me to His side;

My grip is weak and my hand will fail;

My will wavers and doubts losing its determination to keep fighting.

But, my Savior is strong and nothing can weaken His grip all who come to Him, and nothing can thwart or overcome His will to keep you from falling no matter how strong the winds blow or how high raging seas rise.

All who come to Jesus He will by no means cast out (John 6:37).

“My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me.” (Psalm 63:8 ESV)
