Let it be in the Lord’s strength and might that you fight your battles in this world. We are not strong enough. You do it by wearing the “Armor of God” – your waist girded with truth from God’s Word, your heart protected with the breastplate of Christ’s righteousness, your feet walking by faith in the shoes of the salvation of God that is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, with your hand striking the enemy deadly blows welding the “sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God,” and with lips of thankfulness praying always with all perseverance until the end in this life or Christ comes again (Ephesians 6:11-18).
