This 3 minute reminds that we have so elevated our opinions that we will not stop and listen; stop, even, to listen to God speak to us through His written word.
How often we are too busy “speaking our mind” to stop and listen to God speak to us through His word! We forget that the only way we can shut the mouth of the ungodly, and the profane is to proclaim the Gospel message of Jesus Christ through the Word of God. Only by exposing sin and the guilt that all flesh bears – this all mankind knows to be true but suppresses it in unrighteousness (Romans 1:18 – 3:20) . . .
BUT WE CAN’T JUST LEAVE IT THERE . . . we must also declare to the sinner that the only hope for him or her is by embracing by true faith Jesus Christ, who obtained for sinners the forgiveness of sins, righteousness, salvation, and everlasting life to the glory of God.
