This is the first of video sermons: it is the 4th part in a mini-series of messages from the 1 John. The passage that is expounded in this message is 1 John 5:10-13. In this passage the believer will learn of the reassuring comfort and confidence of the internal testimony of God being in the life of Christ; but the person who lifts up his or her opinions of truth and interpretations of reality above God’s written testimony in the Bible remains under condemnation and hopelessness, without any comfort or confidence.
