“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. They are of the world. Therefore, they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.” (1Jo 4:1, 5-6 NKJ)
We are living in a time when discerning truth and error is becoming more and more difficult. However, the best test that you can use to determine someone speaking truth or error is to compare it with what Scripture teaches; if not directly concerning the matter, then indirectly, according to the principles laid out in God’s Holy Word. Another, but not quite as reliable, is to test whether what is spoken of is agreeable to the way the world thinks concerning the issue. Is the person or institution speaking as of the world so that what the person or institution is saying or teaching is what is being spoken of as truth by the unbelieving world? Granted there are times when the world will hit upon truth but the path they will travel down to get there or path that leads from that point will always be different than what we are taught in Scripture, which is God’s revelation of truth. Remember, Satan knows Scripture even better than most Christians and is a professional in the art of deception. Don’t believe everything you are told. Go to the source and determine that validity of what is being said and when it comes to matters of the Faith, the Bible is the ONLY source for truth.
This is especially true when come to evangelism and witnessing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost, to the unbeliever. in many cases there are a lot of obstacles and objections to overcome; but there is no objection that is raise that cannot be answered and responded to in love. It is for this reason that RGM holds several conferences and events during the year. It is to better equip the saints so that they may be able to boldly proclaim the Gospel to those in their community. We don’t need to answer all of the objection we just need to remain steadfast in the truth of Gospel and God will give ears to hear to those who belong to Him, according to His grace alone. Without being born again by the Holy Spirit a person will hear the truth of the Gospel. Yet, we don’t know when or if the person will be brought into the kingdom of the light of Jesus Christ. Don’t ever give up on a person just because they will not hear you at first. Keep proclaiming the truth and perhaps God will be pleased to save that person, delivering him or her from the spirit of error and give him or her the spirit of truth. Beloved in the Lord, be discerning, test the spirits we are living in an age of lies and deception; of twisting of truth; of doing what is right in the eyes of the world is promoted and proclaimed as truth. We are living in a time as of Sodom and Gomorrah, as in the days of Noah. Be strong in the Lord, remain steadfast in the truth as reveal in Scripture and be bold to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to this lost generation that revels in the darkness that they so love – even as it has infiltrated many churches and many saints are being led astray and are wandering sheep. Be a light that shines the darkness – being a super spreader of the goodness and grace of God that is through Jesus Christ, the Light and the Life of men everywhere, the only Savior and Lord.

Our first parade that we will be participating in is the “volkparade” conducted by the Chamber of Commerce of Orange City, IA. The parade is a part of Tulip Festival that is held each year to celebrate the Dutch origins of the city. We will be participating in 2 parades: one on Friday evening (6:00 pm), May 19, and then on Saturday afternoon (2:00 pm), May 20th. WE NEED PARADE WALKERS. if you are available, we really need the help. Please keep this RGM outreach activity in your prayers as we spread the gospel with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
This year will have a new tract that will be distributed along with some of the old “Good News” tracts, Including the Spanish translation of that tract.
