Praise the Lord: We have now settled into a time schedule for chapel services on the Lord ’s Day. We will be meeting only at 4 p.m. Chapel this past Lord’s Day was well attended with 7 souls present. The message from Romans 1:16-17 asking the question, “Are You Ashamed of the Gospel? – Part 2” was well received. It is the blessing to see the Lord at work in the midst of hearers who are both believers and unbelievers (one lady is Jewish and is struggling with understanding the “righteousness of God” that is by faith alone in Jesus Christ – please keep her particularly in prayer).
There are several people who have indicated an interest in attending. Please pray that the Lord will be please to bring them to the chapel service – if they were to come we would have over 10 souls present – What a blessing that would be from the Lord!
Prayer Request: Tonight we will meet for Bible study as we continue our study in Genesis. We begin looking at Genesis Chapter 4 and very troublesome beginning of the history of mankind between Cain and Abel – sin’s effects on the heart of man at this early stage is striking with depravity of man seen in the ice cold murder of Abel by his brother Cain. Please keep this study in prayer as we discuss the depth and extent of man’s depravity and his bondage to sin.
