Preparations for Parade in Hull, IA

We are putting together over 1,000 bags with gospel tracts. These bags will be handed out along the parade route; much like what we did for the parade in Sioux Center, June 9th.

The tradition is that participates in the parade would hand out or throw candy from their float or as they drove by promoting their business or organization. Reformation Gospel Ministry (“RGM”) has taken this tradition one step further by adding a gospel tract published by RGM. For the last parade we had 2 pieces of candy and handed out about 500 bags with tracts. This parade, we have been told, will have many more people in attendance. So we decided to put together 1,000 bags with gospel tracts. However, the cost to include 2 pieces of candy would have been too burdensome; and since our emphasis is on the spreading of the gospel it was decided to cut the candy from 2 pieces to 1 piece.

Please keep this work in your prayers; that the Lord will bless this outreach to the people of this area with the uncompromised Biblical Gospel message of Jesus Christ. We are also looking for volunteers to help with this and future projects. We are planning, Lord willing and He provides the funding, many other events both here in NW Iowa and other parts of the country, including southern California, where we seek to continue this outreach ministry through the on-going efforts of several committed individuals there.

This outreach evangelism ministry is under the oversight of Rehoboth Reformed Church, Cerritos, CA, with Sioux Center United Reformed Church is providing local oversight on behalf of Rehoboth Reformed Church for work conducted in the mid-west.
