Homo Deus, the worship of Man, and the recovery of Genesis

Theistic evolution is driving our aborted youth** into the waiting arms of wicked people who wait to teach them moral decadence and humanistic worldviews. As Dr. Bell says in the article linked below, “Can we jettison Genesis as history (Adam as our ancestor) but keep its spiritual and theological teaching, as most theistic evolutionists claim? Certainly not.” We must be ever vigilant against the devises of Satan not forsaking the fact that Scripture is the infallible, inerrant word of God from Genesis, including Chapters 1-11) to Revelation. Our battle is a spiritual battle, my friends and beloved in Christ! Let’s not be complacent hiding in our own little “comfort zones” but rather let’s come out and reach out to the lost and those who sit in darkness with the hope that is in Jesus Christ. For the world can only a hopelessness and meaningless existence. Soli Deo gloria!

As I read the article and pondered its message I couldn’t help but think of the above passage. In the arrogance against God’s word the foolishness of Theistic Evolution rips apart the faith of those who are weak and vunerable, our youth. Their faith is ripped from them and their minds crushed under the forceps of humanist teaching in the secular colleges and universities as well as so-called Christian colleges and universities, which suppress the truth in unrighteousness, lifting up man’s opinions above God’s holy word, the Bible (Romans 1:18). Their minds are darkened as truth is suppressed and fall into the wickedness that has overcome our culture. Only through Jesus Christ and standing on the truths of His historical record and the promises of the Gospel contained therein can our aborted youth be born again by the power of the Holy Spirit to live freed from the bondage of sin and the darkness of humanist thinking, including Theistic evolution; to live in thankfulness to Christ driven by His love and guided by His word of truth, the Bible.
