Thank you for your prayers. We gave out 1,000 gospel tracts in a bag with a piece of candy. Sadly, we only made it half way through the parade route before running out of tracts. We continued on in the parade as announcers throughout the parade route introduced Reformation Gospel Ministries to the spectators. Next time, Lord willing, we will need to accumulate between 2,000 to 3,000 tracts so that can certain to get through the entire parade route.
Please pray that the tracts that did get distribute will be used of God to bring lost souls to Christ in repentance of their sins and faith in Jesus Christ, who obtained for sinners like you and me the forgiveness of sins, salvation, righteousness, and everlasting life through His one atoning death on the cross and His resurrection.
We would like to thank all of those who contributed their time to this project. Though there were only two people to help hand out tracts at the parade (Matthew and Ana DeBoer, my daughter and son-in-law), there were others who helped in the preparations of the bags for distribution; the Sioux Center DayHab clients and staff, Ana and Matthew, and of course my wonderful wife, Heidi, who helped label and stuff many, many bags.
Our next event planned is an Open-air Evangelism service in the park at the Sioux Center, IA city park. There will be a Gospel message delivered by Rev. Stetler; and Lord willing, there will be singing group to provide live music and singing. Please keep this event in prayer too.
We are in need of volunteers. If you would like to help with this Gospel work, your labors in the Lord will be greatly appreciated. We will be looking for opportunities to spread the Gospel in NW Iowa, southern California, and other parts of the United States, as Lord provides.
Please prayerfully consider contributing to the on-going efforts of this evangelism work through the many projects that are planned as God grants funding to do. Without your generous contributions many of the planned projects will simply not get done.
